Communication Training & Executive Coaching

Chris
O’Shea

Helping professionals find their voice — and trust it.

On the work

I came to facilitation through performance. Fifteen years as a professional actor — on stage at Lincoln Center and Shakespeare’s Globe, on screen for Netflix, HBO, CBS — taught me that communication is a craft, not a personality trait.

Presence is learnable. Clarity under pressure is learnable. I don’t teach frameworks. I teach people to find their own voice — and then trust it.

I came to facilitation through performance. Fifteen years as a professional actor — on screen and on stage — is an unusual foundation for communication training. But performance training is where the science of human communication lives: vocal control, physical presence, emotional authenticity, the ability to hold a room.

These are not soft skills. They are learnable techniques. My work draws on a decade of instructional experience across universities, corporate environments, and private coaching — combined with the craft of a working actor.

My work with individuals and groups draws on the same tools I use as a performer: scene work, physical and vocal awareness, improvisation, text analysis, and the discipline of genuine listening. I don’t teach frameworks. I teach people to find their own voice — and then trust it.
